Rygge Moss-Rygge Airport Information
Moss Airport, Rygge (IATA: RYG) is an international airport in Rygge, Norway, which opened October 8, 2007. The airport is planned to serve as a regional airport for Østfold as well as an international airport for low cost airlines and as a secondary airport for Oslo. The airport is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) outside Moss and 60 kilometres (37 mi) outside Oslo.
There are trains from Rygge Station on the Østfold Line to Oslo, Moss, Sarpsborg, Halden etc. The station is located 4 km from the airport terminal and there are free buses between. Transfer at Oslo S possible to Gardermoen and Torp airports. The trains depart almost every hour, and need 50 minutes. The buses go 15 minutes before the trains.
There are direct buses from Oslo to Moss Airport, Rygge. It takes about 70 minutes, and has scheduled departures about once an hour.
The airport is located right next to European route E6.
